Welcome to Jack Jones’ FAIR-CAM Assistant. By clicking on the FAIR-CAM Assistant image you will find yourself engaging with this amazing tool.
This GPT can be used in a number ways:
1) Learn about FAIR-CAM.
FAIR-CAM isn’t a control framework. You see, common control frameworks describe controls(or control objectives) in a way that is roughly analogous to anatomy in the practice of medicine.
They describe which controls can or should be part of a risk management program, and what those controls should look like. What they don’t tell you is how those controls function, either individually or as a complex system of interdependent parts, in order to reduce or maintain risklevels. FAIR-CAM, on the other hand, provides what is analogous to medical physiology, which it assists in understanding, measuring, and making decisions about risk management controls.
2) Apply FAIR-CAM to a FAIR analysis.
3) Understand the relationship between NIST CSF and FAIR-CAM
# Notes
* You do not need to have previous training or experience with FAIR or FAIR-CAM, although that can sometimes be helpful, depending on the prompt.
* If an answer the GPT provides seems unclear, ask it to simplify its response and/or provide an answer that someone without FAIR or FAIR-CAM experience would understand.
* You can ask it anything, but if your question has anything to do with risk management the model is very FAIR-CAM focused -- its answers will almost always be FAIR-CAM-ified in some fashion.
* Most of its training materials focus on cybersecurity, but it is reasonably good at applying FAIR-CAM to non-cyber scenarios/questions.
* It can be pedantic (by design) on the application of FAIR-CAM.
* It has not been trained on FAIR-MAM or any other ancillary FAIR-related dimensions.
* Note that the recommended model is GPT-5.n Thinking. The thinking process means it's slow to respond but the quality of its answers are significantly better than when the non-Thinking model is used.
* There is a limitation with the use of GPT-5 Thinking in a custom GPT in that it isn't supposed to be able to generate downloadable content (PDFs, spreadsheets, etc.) even when it says it can. Oddly enough, it sometimes seems to be able to do it anyway. The non-Thinking model can generate downloadable materials though.
* This GPT is a work in progress. Nonetheless, it is remarkably capable at this time.
* This GPT is a LLM, which means it can hallucinate. You should verify and/or apply your own critical thinking to any recommendations it provides.
* No, the training materials are not generally available at this time.
